Insulation Tool Education

As a Bullet Tools Distributor, your success is our success! We want to be partners in your education. Watch this video playlist to learn about Bullet Tools’ Siding Tools. Then see below for more information on our tools, our company, and our culture.

As a Distributor

There are a few things you’ll need to know. First of all, we are the Original! Dalen Gunn, the Bullet Tools’ founder, invented the first fixed-blade flooring cutter in 1998. Many have tried to replicate our tools, but no one matches our quality, our continuing innovation, or our customer service. Our tools last far longer, make cleaner cuts with fewer blade changes, can cut harder materials, and include up to a 5 year warranty! Plus our customer service is 100% in the USA, right in the factory. As Bullet Tools grew, we expanded our lines to include Siding and Insulation Tools. Our Insulation Tools continue our legacy of faster, easier work for installers, and many of them even reduce dust.

Secondly, we are proud to be an American manufacturer. All of our tools are made in our original facility in Hayden, Idaho, U.S.A. The first video above is a walk through of our 15,000 square foot manufacturing and office buildings where we design, test, machine, and assemble all of our revolutionary tools. We also house our executive team plus purchasing, sales, graphic design, engineering, marketing, accounting, and customer service all at this location. When you or your customers call needing assistance, everyone in our company is here and available to serve you.

Lastly, we have tools for many different types of insulation, all of which can be seen on our Insulation Page. Our insulation cutter line includes:

The Super Shear is for Spray Foam Insulation. When spray foam expands beyond wall studs, it is a hassle to cut the excess away. The Super Shear offers an ergonomic blade offset from the handle so contractors can cut flat against wall studs without scraping their hands or fatigue from holding at odd angles. The specialty blades cut smoothly through foam insulation without causing static cling. They have a 1 year warranty. The target market for the Super Shear are contractors who use spray foam and want an easy way to trim right against the studs.

Circular Insulation Blades were designed to eliminate the dust or melting that can happen when cutting rigid foam insulation. These come in two sizes: 7.25″ – to fit hand-held circular saws, or 10″ – to fit table saws.
