"I've had mine for around a year now, and have been very happy with the tool.

I install laminate and engineered hardwood flooring, and as you know, it has been a huge time-saver.

Another bonus is that because it produces no dust or noise, having it in the house, right where I am making my cuts to finish a row, saves me MANY trips to the table saw. My saw was always outside, on the ground, so I would get up and down twice as much as I do now. Much easier on the knees and dramatically less joint pain as a result. I work alone, and on a large job, I can get in another 100 feet a day, in the right situation.

The Magnum Shear has also been tested and approved by the Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI). John Namba tested the machine and was satisfied with the cut it produced and ease of use. Finally, manufacturers including Mannington, Pergo, Armstrong and WilsonArt have informally approved the cut produced by the machine and many use the Magnum Shear in their training classes.
