No that's a knockoff. I've seen one. Doesn't hold a candle to the Bullet. You can tell by the squeaking in the video when you watch their video how cheap they are. The funny part is the website says it's a Chicago based company. As in the guy selling them resides in Chicago. But their products all come out of China. That's why no one sells them and you can't buy one.

I'm no manufacturer (who would be the one who would need to tell you this) but if it's COMPLETELY dry and so is your sub-floor, and it still clicks back together than I'd say you're good. Watch for the tongue and groove being brittle (just in case it's low quality flooring which has broken down with the water). Most laminates these days are pretty good about water resistance though. Good luck!

Good point WallMonkey. The one thing I do notice in reading through a couple of those reviews, is that the good reviews are based upon people doing 200sq foot (or similar, DIY jobs). I'm sure the Floor Boar is an "ok" product for what it is, and that is a cheap junk chopper. If your an amateur and don't care that your job is going to look amateur (because it is) than with the price, how do you beat it? There's not much you can buy for 69$ to cut laminate flooring. Especially a quality laminate cutter to cut up to 12mm thick laminate.

Well lets put it this way. I live in the Northwest and I had a piece of transition that I cut to a perfect glove fit which was only 3' and was acclimated. Before I got it installed someone put it out in the cold garage and by the time I got it back into the house the next day it was at least a 1/2" short. So imagine that across an entire floor.

I like the Quiet Step Underlayment (and have it in my own house) for laminate floors, and just use good 'ol tar paper for hardwood. Maybe it's just perception but it seems like the quiet step does make my living room quieter than the rest of the house.

I'd say the "Top Gun" theme song. It's a Epic song for Epic tools! :-)

Rumor has it Bullet Tools is working on a shear to cut just about anything. I haven't heard when it'll be available though. Hopefully soon! I'd love to try cutting decking with a Magnum Shear! That'd be cool!

I just heard that some carpet manufacturers will void your warranty if you use a Dyson vacuum on them. Too bad because our Dyson at home really rocks! I never would have thought of this previously but now would consider this when thinking about buying carpet or a vacuum cleaner.

Did that blow your mind, because that just happened!
