Currently there are two different ways to add pictures to your post. I am working on making this an easier task, presently there is the ability to use an image that is already on a website, or online. To do that you take the address of the image,

for example Bullet Tools logo is located at www.bullettools.com/images/logo.png

I can add this to my post two different ways, when you are in the edit mode there is a graphic that looks like this

This will add tags to your post if you click on it, and you put the address inside of those tags and it will be displayed in your post.

Also at the bottom of the edit window when you are creating a post or thread there is a check box that says "Attach files to this post?" if you check mark the box it will have you attach files after you click post, this will add them to the bottom of your post, however sometimes when using attachments the images may not show properly.

Does that help? Hopefully I didn't make things harder to understand...

Topic: Do you have any How-To's on your site? is this something you are going to be adding?
Posted: Thursday, January 06, 2011 5:01:56 PM
We are working on building a How-To section and will hopefully be putting that on the site within the next few months.

There is a spot in the forum for How-To's if our users want to post. If you are looking for something particular at this time try posting in there, and we will work on a How-To for you or perhaps another user will post one relating your question.

Topic: How do you know when you will get an answer?

So if I post a question how soon do you get back to the answers?

If your question is not answered within a day, then you can post what is called a bump. This is done by going to your question and posting a reply to it that says something like "Does anyone have an answer to this question?"

This will bring your question back to the top of the list. Sometimes what can happen is your post will be moved down the list too quickly because of so many other users posting questions, or threads.

When you post a reply to your post it will raise your post back to the top of the question / thread list. This is called bumping.

Also if you are wondering how you know if someone has replied to your question / post you can choose to receive notifications for your question. This is can be done when you create your question by checking the box that says "Watch this topic and receive notifications of activity via e-mail?" which is right above your Preview, and Post buttons. You can also do this by going to something you, or someone else has already posted, and click on options which is to the right of the questions / threads title and select "Watch this topic"

Does that answer your question?

Our tools are available in many different locations around the world. We actually have a webpage that can tell you where the nearest locations to you are.

Click here to see where you can get our tools!

Also if for some reason you can't seem to find one still give us a call, we would be more than happy to help you! BigGrin

Topic: New shear - can it cut bamboo?

It says "I-13" I got it to do our rec room, which will be just regular laminate wood flooring. But someone told me bamboo is harder stuff?

Ok, your I-13 Magnum Shear will cut laminate flooring just fine. However, we do not recommend cutting any type of bamboo flooring with our tools because of how dense the wood is.

Here is a chart that shows some of the more popular types of flooring and the different types our tools can handle.

Bullet Tools Flooring Janka Scale

I have also attached an image that shows some more standard products that our tools can cut and their thicknesses.

I hope this helps! BigGrin

I just bought a Magnum shear - not one of the big ones - and my wife has decided I'm going to do the entry way too. Can it cut bamboo material?

On the table there is an engraving that should tell you the model number.

Ex. I-9

What is the Model Number of the machine?
