can the blade on my e9 be sharpened? anything i need to know about reinstalling it?

I had a blade sharpened ,but it has to be water cooled as it is sharpened.I also had the holes redrilled oval so i could adjust the blade .

probably cheaper and easier to get a new one. replacement blades are harder steel?can any Bullet guys answer this?

the replacement blade i bought they charged me 200$,20 to resharpen

The replacement blades are the same as any pre-installed blade since 09. They should be somewhat improved compared to the pre-installed blades before that (they switched from pre-installed 'standard' to 'premium' and use a different steel).

Make sure the blade you buy has oval holes so you can adjustit

the 2009 models dont have oval holes ,but i think the new blades do
