All thought I'm kind of ashamed to say it... Laminate. I mean it's so dang easy! How could it not be!

Same!... Even thought it doesn't have the nostalga of hardwood it's WAY more resilient to my kids and dogs!!!

i like installing those new droplock floating engineered floors. You got the beauty of real wood plus the easy install of laminate

I'm all for engineered floors. They have the look and feel of hardwood without the hassles. Be that as it may, I do like the feel of solid oak under my slippers :-)

the droplock engineered that we worked with was a product from LM. We also worked with a very similar product from Kraus. You can make pretty good time installing these floors

I like all 3 types of flooring ,the change is great,the hardwood is more challenging when it comes to specialty work like stairs and finishing details,laminate always has end moldings to cover finishing details,but easy money when big open areas,engineered is just a nice change
