New shear - can it cut bamboo?

I just bought a Magnum shear - not one of the big ones - and my wife has decided I'm going to do the entry way too. Can it cut bamboo material?

On the table there is an engraving that should tell you the model number.

Ex. I-9

What is the Model Number of the machine?

It says "I-13". I got it to do our rec room, which will be just regular laminate wood flooring. But someone told me bamboo is harder stuff?

Ok, your I-13 Magnum Shear will cut laminate flooring just fine. However, we do not recommend cutting any type of bamboo flooring with our tools because of how dense the wood is.

Here is a chart that shows some of the more popular types of flooring and the different types our tools can handle.
