I'm redonk allergic to animal dander and dust mites. So we got rid of the cat and dog & installed Laminate floors this weekend. I'm pretty excited to see how much it helps. I'm thinking it will help a ton since the pets were all over the floor and how gross the carpet was! I'm pretty stoked! i like carpet. it feels warmer. but it is loaded with dust particles so i guess its hard on allergies. pets, dust and allergies would be uncomfortable for sure

Cork is another warm floor as a option, and feels good to walk on and is easier on the feet ,legs and knees, for standing long periods of time.
