Every cutter that we manufacture comes with a honing stone. This stone should be utilized frequently to remove any burrs that are created from usage. We do not recommend taking the blade to a sharpener as it reduces the blade height and makes the tool less effective.

The RCT Cutter was designed specifically for resilient tile and carpet tile. It utilizes a sharper blade that is ideal for cutting Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT) as well as carpet tiles. The RCT Cutter also has a modified table and angle guide that is specific for tile products.

If you feel the damage due to your blade is cause due to manufacturers defects please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization (R.A.) number, and the address to ship the blade for inspection in consideration of a replacement.
